No Dairy
The convenience of great canned coffee... and no unplanned pit stops. Milk-based coffee drinks are built for cafés. Esspritz keeps coffee simple and harnesses a powerful flavor balance that works without milk or dairy alternatives to uplift and marry bright espresso and orange notes.
Made to be Canned
Espresso tonic doesn’t lose its character in a can—it benefits from it. Plus, now you can take it everywhere. If you’re used to canned cold brew and love seltzer, Esspritz is the next step.
No Artificial Sweeteners
Lightly sweetened with cane sugar, that's all. No strange aftertaste. Just the right amount of real sugar for balance. Tuned for clarity, not excess. Shift into high gear, without the drag.

Reviews
My favorite new drink in years. Clean and well balanced. The espresso flavor is strong without feeling overwhelming. It’s just barely sweet, which I appreciate, and finishes crisp instead of syrupy like a lot of canned coffees. This tastes like something you’d order at a café. I always keep a few in my fridge now.
I never had an espresso tonic before trying Esspritz, and now I’m kind of hooked. The coffee, the orange, and whatever the tonic adds just work together. It’s bright, refreshing, and totally different from what I expected. I don’t even want lattes (my old staple) anymore. These are coming with me everywhere this summer!
What stood out to me is how light it drinks. The coffee flavor is fresh and the tonic adds just enough bite to keep it interesting. It’s craveable without tasting like soda, and the sweetness is subtle. I find myself reaching for one before a night out and even the gym. More flavors, please.
Common questions
We think most vegans would consider it to be, but it's up to personal opinion. Much of the white cane sugar produced in the US is processed with cow bone charcoal or 'bone char'. The bone char isn't in the sugar itself, but is used in the refining process for whitening. At this point in time, our sugar suppliers use bone char in some of their plants but not others.
We'll give it our best try! The fruit flavors hit first, and then a wave of sharp espresso, but it's quickly balanced by the slight bitterness of the quinine (the iconic ingredient in tonic water). We have heard the overall experience described as 'tea-like', but some told us it's like a non-alc apertif. Taste is very subjective and extremely susceptible to the moment. Some tasters think the coffee comes through very strong, and others don't. The difference in our customers' preferences and taste is so interesting to us and a critical part of our R&D process. If you're ever interested in being a part of a taste test in the Los Angeles area, send us an email with the word "Taster" in the subject line.
We would say a good comparison is an American lager, like Bud Light. Although in the future we'd like to see if we can push it more.
One 12 oz. can of Esspritz Espresso Tonic in Orange Peel has 11g of added cane sugar. For comparison, one 12 oz. can of classic Coca Cola has 39g, one 12 oz. can of Canada Dry Ginger Ale has 32g, and one 6.5 oz. can of Starbucks Espresso and Cream has 11g added sugars.
Yes!
The USDA reports varying caffeine levels in coffee, with an 8-ounce cup of brewed coffee containing around 95 mg, while a 1-ounce serving of restaurant espresso has about 63 mg, but these figures can change based on bean type, roast, grind, and brewing method, with larger coffee shop servings containing significantly more. So Esspritz Espresso Tonic is comparable to 1 cup of coffee. For most adults, the FDA has cited 400 mg a day of caffeine as an amount not generally associated with negative effects. However, there is wide variation in both how sensitive people are to the effects of caffeine and how fast they eliminate it from the body. For comparison, Celcius products have between 200 and 300 milligrams of caffeine in each 12-ounce serving. La Colombe Cold Brew Black has 180mg in each 9-ounce serving.
